We are an event planning company based in Buffalo, New York that provides consultation, coordination and design services for parties, weddings, and corporate events in Western New York.  Dawn Schregel, founder of Distinctive Occasions, brings her vibrant personality, organizational skills, and creativity to every event with which she is involved.   Prior to forming Distinctive Occasions, Dawn planned parties, weddings and events across WNY for six years.  Dawn's business experience, combined with her professional theatre background helps her envision events from start to finish from both a logistical and a creative standpoint.  Dawn is certified as a Professional Bridal Consultant through the Association of Bridal Consultants.

Dawn noticed that the event industry in Buffalo and Western New York needed a young, chic company in tune with current trends, and so Distinctive Occasions was formed!  We continue to strive to provide our clients with our unique perspective and energy every day!  We are passionate about events, and dedicated to exceeding your expectations.
